Chapter Nine: Cash & Ass

Dawn

The flushed feeling of my cheeks was making them tingle. My face was burning hot and my eye lids were heavy. My head throb every time I opened my eyes so it was better to keep them shut. I didn’t care for spinning room anyway. I felt a cold hand on my shivering naked body and immediately jumped up to puke. Why Riley and Kamari were all in my face I had no clue but they needed to back up. My chills were turning into sweats and the smell of my puke was making me nauseous again. I put my hand on my head as she tried to forget my bad dream and remember what happened.

“You need to get freshened up.” Riley said helping me off the floor.

I was no help because my eyes were on Hb watching him come into the room with some new clothes and a towel. It wasn't hard to remember what happened now.

“Where's the money?” I asked Hb.

He pulled money out his pocket and handed it but I smacked it out his hand.

“How could you! How could you let that boy touch me? I don’t know your nasty ass roommate and you let Aveona touch me!”

“Stop tripping. Nobody fucked so take this money and chill. You did good bay,” HB said trying to hug me.

“I hope your ass really needed that money,” I said choking up.

I pushed HB out the way so I could get in the shower. I needed no dime he got last night because I was on my way to make my own money. HB shook his head and threw the towel on the throw up.

“HB you need to get your shit together. Look I was thinking about buying a house. We can live together and...” I heard Riley began.

“Be a family? It's too late for that big sis.” Hb said interrupting Riley.

In the shower my mind went back to the real dream I had. I said before I always dreamt of my mom and aunt fighting with each other but this dream was way more vivid. I saw my mom and Kaisha attack my mom. I couldn’t watch blood pour from her face no longer so I attacked my aunt. There was a broken table from my aunt tackling my mom into the table. Aunt Rashada picked up a leg from the broken table and knocked me upside my head with it waking me up with a throbbing head headache. I got out the shower looking and feeling way better than I did before. Hb watched me do my long black hair. He stood up and hugged me places kisses on neck until he walked away. The brush dropped out of my hands. I don’t know why I let this boy get to my head but I do. Riley and Kamari both stood up to console me but I put my hands up.

“Don't. I don't need neither one of your pity. Let's just go get this money.”

As me, Kamari and Riley walked up to the scene I shitty mood convinced me I would not enjoy.
